IRL, these heavy vehicles will have a steering wheel rotation of as much as 1980 degrees (5.5 turns) or even more. Personally I use a tiny bit of non-linearity to tune out the centre-of-travel sensitivity a little. As long as you're getting the steering response that you want (linearity) then who cares? Just set the wheel to 900 degrees, leave the profiler's sensitivity for the wheel at 50% (linear) and adjust the in-game linearity slider to tune the wheel's linearity to your liking (full left is full linear). These look like the settings everyone suggests. I notice that when I turn the wheel, the test indicator over "Joy Wheel" moves slowly and evenly left and right through the entire rotation of the wheel. The settings for force feedback are (mostly) centered Steering Non-linearity: 0% (all the way left) Steering Sensitivity: 100% (all the way right) * "Enable Centering Spring in Force Feedback Games" is UNCHECKED
The ETS2 profile is the gloal profile, and has the following settings: I have the Logitech Profiler installed and running. I've read several guide, and followed several videos on how to set it up, and it seems like it should work. The wheel turns too fast at the beginning, then too slowly at the end, so less than a quarter turn of the wheel has the in-game wheel to half a turn, but the last half-turn of the wheel hardly moves the wheel in game.
